Sacred Gems© are small works carrying big truths:

We are the light we seek.

We carry more strength than we know.

Healing can begin in the smallest of places.

And even in darkness, something sacred is waiting to be witnessed.

Sacred Gems©

Sacred Gems are not only objects we can hold. Sacred Gems are also the things we learn to notice.”

Art That Ministers to the Soul.

Sacred Gems© began as small works of art created to carry something much larger than their size: light, beauty, comfort, hope, and healing.

These intimate works—often only 3 × 3, 4 × 4, or 4 × 6 inches—are intentionally small. I think of them as tiny vessels, jam-packed with emotion, meaning, color, and spirit. They are created to live almost anywhere: on a hospital bedside table, on a windowsill, on a desk, on a bookshelf, beside a favorite chair, in a therapist's office, or tucked into a sacred corner of the home.

But over time, my understanding of the Sacred Gem has deepened.

Through my own seasons of change, loss, solitude, healing, and rediscovery, I began to understand that Sacred Gems© are not only objects we can hold.

Sacred Gems are also the things we learn to notice.

They are the small acts of kindness that may never receive recognition.

They are moments of courage hidden inside difficult circumstances.

They are the strengths within us that pain sometimes prevents us from seeing.

They are the quiet choices people make every day to remain loving, generous, honorable, resilient, tender, or hopeful—even when life has given them every reason not to be.

Sometimes a Sacred Gem is something another person sees in us before we can see it in ourselves.

In my work as a therapist and coach, I have found myself naming these gems: the overlooked qualities, truths, strengths, and pieces of wisdom that can become buried beneath disappointment, fear, shame, grief, or the stories we have learned to tell about ourselves.

We are often trained to notice what is wrong. Sacred Gems© invite us to notice what remains beautiful.

A Sacred Gem might be an unexpected kindness. A moment of forgiveness. A boundary finally spoken. A mother doing what she must to care for her child. Someone beginning again after tremendous loss. A truth finally recognized. A quiet act of dignity that no one applauds.

These moments may appear small.

They are not.

They contain entire stories.

That is what I want these small works of art to hold.

Each Sacred Gem© is created as a visual reminder to pause long enough to notice what might otherwise be overlooked—the light still present within ourselves, within one another, and within the ordinary moments of our lives.

They are small enough to hold in your hand, yet spacious enough to hold a prayer, a memory, an intention, a truth, or a blessing.

I believe we each carry a divine spark within us. Sometimes that light is brilliant and unmistakable. Sometimes it becomes difficult to see beneath sorrow, anxiety, fear, transition, or uncertainty.

The light has not disappeared.

Sometimes we simply need something—or someone—to help us recognize it again.

Sacred Gems© are my way of doing that through art.

Each piece is an invitation to look again.

To notice the overlooked.

To honor the quiet acts of courage and kindness.

To remember what is still whole.

To recognize the sacred hiding in plain sight.

And perhaps, as we learn to recognize these gems within ourselves, we become more able to see them in one another.

That is how individual sparks become collective light.

Sacred Gems© are small works carrying big truths:

We are the light we seek.

We carry more strength than we know.

Healing can begin in the smallest of places.

And even in darkness, something sacred is waiting to be witnessed.

Thank you for welcoming a Sacred Gem© into your life—and for helping carry its light into the world.

Axé, Aħo, Amen
